The good times...
Hi ladies (and gentlemen), I wanted to take a look at my enjoyable 4 years of manicuring! At the beginning of my career, I started renting a booth back in August 2016. I marketed my work to showcase my talent on Instagram. I even remember posting that I offered $10 fill-ins (designs & additions not included), to gain clientele. From then on, I begin to gain clientele, grew my business, and strived to provide quality nails. In doing so, I got to meet some of the most amazing women and it was beyond fulfilling.
Some of my favs
Even though I loved EVERY single manicure I’ve done (and putting my all into each set), here are some nail art moments in my career where my clients either challenged me with something new or the nails have sentimental value for my client and me.
Photos of Space/Suite/Booths
Here is where all of the magic happens. Here are snapshots of my nail spaces. I miss having the intimacy of chatting with a client, from shallow and interesting topics to sharing life-changing and uplifting moments in our lives with each other. I’m so honored to have shared a space with someone where they felt welcomed, comfortable, and trusted me with their nails.
Photography Bloopers/Moments
Chile, we used to cut up for the gram okay?! I loved that my clients transformed with their new and finished nails! They became my Next Top (hand) Models with the photoshoots and I’m sure they adored seeing their nails displayed publicly for everyone on my IG to see because I know I did.
Instagram Posts
Even though my brand has come a long way, here are some posts in the past that showcase the evolution of my marketing. I loved including different forms of engagement to continue connecting with the ladies. However, I do remember that it could get overwhelming, but fun nonetheless.
Press-on Era
When COVID hit, I pivoted my business to adapt to the new circumstances of staying in the house. I ended up opening my very own Press-On Shop to the public. I made sure that this service was high-quality. From the measuring process to picking the right press-ons, it was a full production! The most fulfilling part was simply providing regular (and new) clients with some identity crisis relief during these times! I ended up mailing these and making deliveries. Here are some of those works of art along with the new packaging.
Closing | Recap
Thank you for taking a trip down memory lane with me. I am most grateful for all of the hands I’ve touched, the genuine moments I’ve shared, and the art that my clients and I created.
